Jasmine Huang (b. 1998) grew up in the suburbs of Memphis, TN. She cites her upbringing in the South as a core part of her education and likes bald cypresses and the heat. Huang studied political science and alternative-process photography at Sewanee, the University of the South. Her work centers around family and migration. She is interested in memory, imagined realities, and their confluence with mythology. Huang was a resident of the 2024 Volland Residency Program and is a 2025 PhotoWork Junior Fellow.
